We are members of the casino rewards club and redeemed an offer on a room we were placed on casino level. So on our last visit we found that the door to our room had been left open-not closed and certainly not with a lock engaged. But that's not enough to make up for safety and security of guests. Kathy, the massage therapist, is a master. I hit the spa nearly every visit-and the spa is amazing. We generally ate one meal there each day. We could spend the day off property (particularly when the lake isn't open for boating) then hit the casino at night. We had (past tense) come to Rocky Gap several times a year because it's a good location for us to hit some of the other resort and antiquing areas within a 1-2 mile radius. We stayed there the week between Christmas and New Years. I am writing this because of a safety and security issue that needs addressed-or else those staying at the property need to be made aware. I'm not randomly complaining or writing this review because my steak was a little on the rare side of medium, or my towels looked old. First, I have made the property aware of my concerns and believe their response to be severely lacking after three weeks, I am still waiting.
